Community Supported Agriculture

At New Leaf Farm shareholders commit to supporting the farm throughout the season. Members pay up front, helping the farmers cover the cost of running the farm and growing the food.

In return members receive a share of the harvest each week. Together eaters and growers share in the risks and bounties, the beauty and the community of the farm. Together we keep local farm land productive and have a say in how the land in our community is treated. It is about eating to the benefit of the community, the land, and our own wellness.

At distribution, members fill up their share bag with their own choices from that day’s harvest. Shares are available in full or small size. A full share is designed for a family of four or two adult vegetarians. Full shares cost $575 for the season .  A small share is great for individuals, part-time residents, and less vegetable oriented eaters. Small shares cost $375 for the season.

In addition, all members may harvest our pick your own veggies, fruit, herbs and flowers. U-pick crops include snap peas, green beans, cherry tomatoes, edamame, strawberries, raspberries and more.
